For the model year 2020, there are some important advancements and innovations for all models of the HOREX VR6 series.
The HOREX VR6 RAW, Classic and Café Racer models now feature a newly developed clutch that sets new standards of usability and comfort. The multi-disc oil bath clutch has not only the already known hydraulic support but also an anti-hopping function. The required pulling and releasing torques are the lowest in the entire competition, the necessary manual force is reduced by more than half. The switching operations are much softer and more precise, the insertion of the neutral position is done with previously unattained ease. The optionally available shift assistant (Quick-Shifter) raises the comfort of gear changes once again to a new benchmark level. The new clutch was first presented at EICMA in Milan, the world's largest motorcycle show.
As the year progresses, more exciting news will follow around the HOREX VR6 models.
However, prices and model selection remain unchanged. For the model year 2020, the models HOREX VR6 Classic, HOREX VR6 Café Racer and HOREX VR6 RAW are still available. In addition, the model and equipment variant Heritage Line (HL) for Classic and Café Racer is in the program.
Christmas is still a bit away, but the "Open House" to St. Nicholas in the HOREX flagship store in Ingolstadt was already a true celebration.
Once again, numerous interested people and the trade press found their way to the store in Upper Bavaria and used the opportunity to take a closer look at the current models and for some talks in a pre-Christmas peaceful atmosphere. At the top of the popularity scale of the delicacies on offer: Hot caipirinha with foam of Amarena cherries (alcohol-free for motorcyclists, of course!), gingerbread strudel with poppy seed foam and homemade roasted almonds. The next "Open House" in Ingolstadt will take place at the start of the season on 4 April 2020.

This is where friends of high-quality leather goods get their money's worth: a HOREX wallet and vehicle registration folder are now available, made of the original leather of the HOREX benches for Classic and Café Racer - each in black and brown. The finest saddle leather has been given a high-quality finish with blind embossing (HOREX lettering and logo). In accordance with the well-known high quality standards, these are handmade in Germany - made in Allgäu. This partnership does not even begin with the announcement at the EICMA 2019. Even when the current VR6 engine was on the test bench, MOTUL was present with the product 300V Factory Line RR. The laboratory results showed exceptionally good wear and oil condition values from the beginning. From this reliable base, the oil was continuously further optimized together and tailored to the special needs of the high-performance engine. Thus, it can play all the strengths in testing as well as in everyday operation, such as the extremely high shear stability for a stable oil pressure, the high adhesion, which reduces cold start wear and improves heat dissipation. The very high thermal capacity buffers the operation under extreme conditions, thus contributing to the ultimate driving experience of each HOREX VR6 and to a long engine life. The year is coming to an end, it is time for the trade fair again. The EICMA in Milan will run until Sunday, November 10th. And HOREX will again be represented at the world's largest motorcycle show this year - and twice.
