HOREX Regina Evo at the Milan Design Week

At the Milan Design Week, HOREX brings the Regina Evo to Italy for the first time — an evolution of one of the archetypes of German motorcycling: the HOREX Regina of the 1950s, a post-war bestseller.

Chrome surfaces, contrasting finishes, spoked wheels, a conventional telescopic fork, and a headlamp integrating the instrumentation are familiar elements, yet never imitative. Instead, they are reinterpreted through materials.
In the new HOREX Regina Evo, carbon-fiber, aluminum and stainless steel coexist in a carefully balanced composition, where each element is chosen not only for its function but also for its expressive quality. There is no hierarchy between aesthetics and engineering: the two coincide. Every component is both structure and signature — as exemplified by the chassis, realized as a high-modulus carbon-fiber monocoque.
This approach is made possible by an in-house production ecosystem rarely found in the motorcycle world. HOREX develops and manufactures frames, components and details internally, using advanced technologies such as CNC machining, autoclaves, and 3D design and printing systems.
The name "Regina" resurfaces naturally. In the 1950s it represented a bold and unconventional choice for a German motorcycle — an evocative Italian name, introduced in a context dominated by alphanumeric codes. A decision that proved successful: the Regina quickly became a post-war icon and also achieved sporting success, including three victories at the Varese Six Days, strengthening the brand's bond with Italy.
During Design Week, from 20 to 26 April 2026, the Regina Evo will be on display at the HOREX-Haus in Piazza Gae Aulenti, at the heart of the new Smart District in Porta Nuova. Rather than a conventional exhibition, it unfolds as a narrative journey — a space where the motorcycle can be read both as an industrial object and as a design concept.

HOREX Regina Evo is being delivered

The HOREX Regina Evo is now being delivered. Development and homologation of the HOREX Regina Evo were successfully completed in the first quarter of 2025. The current model, which is of course Euro 5plus-certified, received full German KBA approval, which is by no means a matter of course in the motorcycle industry.

Since the first delivery in April, production at the HOREX factory in Landsberg am Lech has been ramping up continuously. The aim is for as many HOREX customers as possible to become proud new owners of a brand-new Regina Evo before the start of autumn.

They were experiences in a class of their own, the previous two editions of the HOREX Days. And for the third edition in August 2020, we started planning again last year. Even bigger and more spectacular, that was the credo for the HOREX Days 2020.
As always, the focus of the program was not only on our fascinating premium six-cylinder bikes, but also on the interaction between the many thousands of two-wheel enthusiasts.
Due to current restrictions, events of this size are not permitted in Bavaria on the planned date of the 3rd HOREX Days at the end of August 2020. It is currently not possible to foresee how the situation will develop.
The safety and health of our visitors, partners and employees is our top priority. It is therefore with a heavy heart that we have to postpone the 3rd HOREX Days until next year. We will of course announce the date again in good time on all channels, via our website, the newsletter and in social networks. Because one thing is clear: we are all looking forward all the more to celebrating with our fans, customers and all friends of motorbikes in our factory in Landsberg am Lech!

For the premium manufacturer it was the first participation in the established event in the Hanseatic city and it paid off immediately. Throughout the entire event, there was consistently high demand from the numerous visitors for the unique VR6 motorcycles from the factory in Landsberg am Lech, Upper Bavaria, and also a lot of praise for the exclusive HOREX stand. The great success in Hamburg is thus giving further impetus to considerations of opening another HOREX location in northern Germany in the near future.
